The Klozbücher family has been using traditional recipes and manual procedures since 1935, producing the finest sausage and meat products made to a very high quality. Just like his father and grandfather before him, master butcher Bernd Klozbücher is the third generation to keep this tradition alive.
We use only the best ingredients for all of our products. We offer German quality meat exclusively. Our beef comes from the abattoirs of local farms.

OUR RECIPE: A LITTLE SALT, JUNIPER BERRIES, PEPPER & BAY LEAVES WITH A FINE BEECH AND PINE SCENT

It might sound a little strange, but the right premises are just as important today as in the past for making good bacon. After slaughter, the pig is placed in the cellar and the individual parts are salted and cured. After a few weeks, they are hung up and smoked in the kitchen in which the oven is lit for cooking. Later on, the kitchen and smoking chamber were separated. To ensure the right maturation and storage in the cellar, good ventilation was especially important – the well-balanced interaction between temperature, humidity and fresh air is essential for consistency and allowing the flavours to develop.
